 FAQs

  • We are not currently in network with any insurance providers, however we can accept HSA/FSA payments. We also can provide you with a superbill so you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Being out of network allows us to provide the quality, one-on-one service that we believe our patients deserve, without having to treat within the confines of insurance regulations.

If cost is a barrier for you, let's talk about it!

  • Under NYS guidelines for Physical Therapists, we can see you without a doctors referral for 10 visits or 30 days (whichever comes first). After that we will need a referral.

  • This totally depends and is 100% up to you! Depending on the reason you are seeking PT, an internal pelvic floor exam may be beneficial to fully assess the strength and muscle integrity of your pelvic floor. If you don't feel comfortable for any reason we can absolutely talk about that and find an option that feels good to you.

  • No! All are welcome

  • This is very much dependent on the reason you are coming to PT. After your initial evaluation, we will discuss what would be most beneficial for your treatment frequency and duration and decide on a plan that works best for you. We see the majority of our patients 1 time per week.

  • We usually recommend 2-3 weeks postpartum to start PT (regardless of vaginal vs. cesarean birth), or whenever you feel ready to leave the house! You definitely don't need to wait until your 6 week OB/midwife visit. The first 2 weeks after baby you should prioritize rest and bonding with your baby, however if you are having an immediate problem, we can see you sooner!

  • Investment is $160 for the initial evaluation and $105 for follow up visits. We reserve 1 hour for each appointment to allow for one on one, individualized care. We offer labor prep and postpartum packages at a discounted rate. Yoga classes range $20-25 per class.

  • YES! While pelvic floor dysfunctions are extremely common during pregnancy and postpartum, they affect individuals of all genders, ages and those who have never been pregnant/had a baby.

  • You are always welcome to bring your little one!
